The final voting time will be on April 19th from Noon until the Membership Meeting starts.
You may cast your ballot in the Office when the Adjutant is present. REMEMBER YOU MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER OF OUR POST TO VOTE.
Nominations for the Officers of the Post includes the Commander, 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander, Judge Advocate, Finance Officer, Sargent at Arms and three Members at Large.
Job Descriptions of the top 6 positions can be found of the Post website at https://post131.org/the-officers/. Members at Large represent the leadership and membership of the Post by chairing committees and performing other duties as assigned by the Commander.
All candidates for an elected position must submit a short bio for posting on the Post bulletin board where members can read and decide on their vote on or before March 10th. All submittals and declarations of intent should be submitted to a member of the Nomination Committee by email or hard copy. Nomination Committee consists of Dan Cady, Past Commander (cw4dan@gmail.com); Sam Barnard, Past Commander (sambarnard1946@gmail.com) or Mike Davis (arizonadavis@gmail.com).
ONLY current American Legion members can vote.
Remaining dates for voting and the times are as follows:
April 19th @ Membership Meeting from 16:30 to 17:30
Adjutant will offer member voting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 10AM and 2PM beginning March 20, 2023, through April 11, 2023.
Adjutant must be present to receive votes so check the office hours for that Monday Wednesday or Friday.
