American Legion Post 131

American Legion Post 131 was chartered/founded in 2009 at the site of the “old firehouse”, later converted to the Los Amigos restaurant in the Green Valley Village, 249 W. Esperanza, Green Valley, AZ 85614.

The Grand Opening occurred on June 27, 2009 with a membership of roughly 150. We have a collective organizational membership of 1,400 at Post 131! CLICK on a LINK below to learn more.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 131

The American Legion Auxiliary is the world’s largest women’s patriotic service organization. Through its nearly 10,500 units located in every state and some foreign countries, the Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace. Along with The American Legion, it solidly stands behind America and her ideals.

The American Legion Auxiliary shines as an example of unselfish giving. With almost a million members from all walks of life, the Auxiliary administers hundreds of volunteer programs, gives tens of thousands of hours to its communities and to veterans, and raises millions of dollars to support its own programs as well as other worthwhile charities familiar to most Americans. It is all accomplished with volunteers.

Sons of the American Legion

JOIN the Sons of the American Legion – Complete the Sons of the American Legion application form online, print the form, and bring to the office at Post 131 with $30 dues.

We want to hear from you, SAL’s! We want your input on events, fundraising and Veteran organizations with whom to work with and donate funds raised by us SAL’s.
