Effectively immediately the Post 131 kitchen will only provide food that is cooked to the current FDA approved temperatures, keeping the post in compliance with FDA guidelines.
This includes meat, poultry, fish and eggs and applies to Burger Night, Taco Night and Auxiliary Lunches. Government food safety standards require all ground beef to reach a minimum internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) (well-done) to kill harmful bacteria like E. coli. All special meals will also follow these guidelines.
